Hi, I’m Helen Ai He! Starting in January 2020, I will be an Assistant Professor in the Human-Computer Interaction cluster, Faculty of Computer Science, Dalhousie University, Canada. A bit about me – I was born in China and grew up in Canada. I did my PhD (Informatics) in Switzerland from 2012-2017 and have lived in Cologne, Germany for the last few years. I did a postdoc at the Data Experience Lab, University of Calgary (Canada) and worked as a software developer for 2 years, after finishing my BSc and MSc in Computer Science (University of Calgary). For a brief (but glorious!) stint, I worked at NTT Science Labs, in Kyoto, Japan. Here, you will find my random musings about technology, creativity, travel, culture, and purpose. I love good food, martial arts, jam sessions, making art, authentic conversations about things that matter, and living life mindfully and purposefully.

Thanks for stopping by!
